Information Ministry Blocks 26 Websites in 2015
29 June 2015
The figure was mentioned by Information Minister Liliya Ananich at the press conference on June 30.
The Minister said that five of the blocked resources used their platforms for unfair advertising of medicines. The press release dated June 24 names the blocked websites: bizator.by, ekomok.by, ilotok.by, localmart.by, slanet.by.
“I think owners of the websites understand well that access to the web resources cannot be restored, so they don’t request for it,” said Liliya Ananich.
Access to two websites has been restored: these were kyky.org, news and entertainment resource; and hata.by, which advertises selling and renting real estate.
