Belarus blocks access to opposition website
24 January 2018
The popular opposition website Charter97.org does not open in Belarus. When one tries to enter the site, it either does not load or a window pops up saying that the website has been added to the list of restricted webpages.
Access to Charter97 is blocked both from desktops and devices with mobile internet.
Several weeks ago, Belarusian authorities blocked access to the Belarus Partisan website (belaruspartisan.org) without any explanations. Access was restored only after the owners of the website registered their portail in the Belarusian domain zone .by.
