Authorities block access to news website Telegraf.by

The news website Telegraf.by has been inaccessible to Belarusian users after being blocked by the country’s authorities.
The decision has been made by the information ministry, according to a message that appears on the screen when one tries to go to the website.
The website is available in Belarus only via VPN.
The Telegraf.by editorial team has not yet commented on the reason for the blocking.
Launched in August 2005, telegraf.by mainly focuses on news in Belarus but also covers global developments and provides expert opinions and useful information.
Originally a Russian-only site, telegraf.by launched its Belarusian- and English-language versions in March 2010.
