Baj.media: BAJ moves to new e‑mail and website, fearing theft of old domain name by authorities

For almost 20 years the Belaru­sian Asso­ci­a­tion of Jour­nal­ists web­site has been locat­ed at baj.by and remains the main source of infor­ma­tion about events, prob­lems, trends and oppor­tu­ni­ties in the media sphere.

This year our team has expand­ed con­sid­er­ably: now we not only pro­duce news and ana­lyt­i­cal texts, raise press­ing issues and gath­er all the oppor­tu­ni­ties for media work­ers, but also cre­ate engag­ing Tik­Tok videos.

But now we are fac­ing the threat of con­fis­ca­tion of our favorite domain name Baj.by by the Belaru­sian author­i­ties. Active actions of the author­i­ties in this direc­tion began imme­di­ate­ly after we pub­lished our posi­tion regard­ing the Inter­net Gov­er­nance Forum.

Real­iz­ing the dan­ger, as of today the BAJ site has been moved to a new inter­na­tion­al domain name.

BAJ rep­re­sents the media sec­tor, there­fore the new domain name is baj.media. Make sure you remem­ber it and add it to your book­marks and sub­scrip­tions now! BAJ is now locat­ed at baj.media.

Our email address is also chang­ing. Please replace it in your con­tacts now so that your emails do not reach the author­i­ties by mis­take.
