Criminal proceedings against journalist Dashchynski dismissed

The criminal prosecution of journalist Ales Dashchynski has been terminated. His pledge not to leave the country is no longer binding, and the items seized during the search were returned to him, reports BAJ.
Dashchynski was arrested in July 2021. After 8 days of detention, he was released but remained a suspect in the case of the organization, preparation of, or active participation in actions that grossly violate public order.
Dashchynski used to work for Radio Racyja and had press credentials as an RFE/RL Belarus correspondent in 2004–2020.
