Journalists detained again in Minsk

Before his deten­tion, Anton Trafi­movich con­duct­ed a live report near the build­ing of the Cen­tral Elec­tion Com­mis­sion.

A civ­il action took place in Min­sk today: about 2,500 peo­ple lined up to file com­plaints against the Cen­tral Elec­tion Com­mis­sion (CEC). After the CEC closed at 7 pm  riot police detained peo­ple from the queue, blocked the street with pad­dy wag­ons and secu­ri­ty offi­cers.

About an hour lat­er, the jour­nal­ists were released from police depart­ment.
