The website and social media pages of Intex-press, the most popular Baranavichy newspaper, were recognized as extremist

We are talking about a large non-governmental regional editorial office Intex-press.by, as well as its media pages on Instagram, Twitter, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Tiktok, Telegram, and YouTube.
It is essentially equivalent to killing this popular newspaper, since from now on any creation, distribution, and even storage of materials of the newspaper will be interpreted by the authorities as an offense or a crime, which entails a fine and arrest.
The Intex-press was also published on paper until 2021, until Dom Druku unilaterally refused to print the newspaper
On April 29, a court hearing was held where a corresponding decision was made, reports Nash Kray, the state-run competitor of Intex-press.
In February, the security forces already came to Intex-press and seized all the equipment.
The regional independent press is being consistently destroyed in Belarus. On the morning of March 15, in Vileika, the house of the editor-in-chief of the Regional Newspaper Aliaksandr Mantsevich was searched and he was detained. Mantsevich is accused of “spreading deliberately false information discrediting Belarus and its authorities.”
In early April, a Slutsk newspaper Infa-Kurier announced its closure after all its texts were recognized as extremist materials. The day before, the newspaper’s editorial office was searched. The editor-in-chief of the newspaper Siarhei Stankevich and his deputy Aleh Rubchenia were detained. They were sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
